Hillary Rodham Clinton’s candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination has received a boost from white Protestants. White Protestants and other Christians who report attending religious services at least weekly gave the New York senator double-digit leads in nearly all primary states for which The Washington Post has purchased exit poll data. That was true again this week when she took 64 percent of the white Protestant vote in Ohio and 55 percent of that vote in Texas.
