Permitting guns onto school grounds not the answer in stopping massacres like NIU and Virginia Tech February 17, 2008

I can’t believe there are people out there who thinks the answer to stopping these massacres on campuses is by letting everyone bring guns to school. We don’t need anymore wild west shootouts. The difficulty of this issue is that with our currently weak gun laws, there’s no way to totally prevent this from happening again. Unfortunately, with the strength of the gun lobby and the cowardice of our elected officials, nothing will change.
