  3. Hello bloggers! I am on the steering committee for the Rally in DC on the 31st, we’re asking all pro-hillary sites to help us out. We need it! Can you please post about the rally, send out an email blast to all your contacts? we need to increase awareness and get as many people there as possible to show the DNC that we will not be silenced. I have ads and logos if you’d like. You can view them at http://Hillaryresponders.com/counteveryvote. Below is what we’ve been circulating and what many blogs have posted. thanks! Karen

    Dear Fellow Hillary Supporters

If you believe that the DNC must honor our core democratic principles and enfranchise the people of MI and FL and their respective delegations,

If you believe that Hillary Clinton is best for our party, most likely to win in November and best for our country,

If you believe the contest for the democratic nomination must not end before all of the votes from each State and US Territory have been cast and counted and that nominating conventions, not candidates (or the media), declare the nominee,

If you believe that the media and DNC have underestimated the passion, strength, intensity and determination of women voters and the power of the women’s vote,

Then please join us in Washington, D.C. on May 31st, to rally outside the meeting of the Rules and Bylaws Committee. The RBC will make its determination with respect to Michigan and Florida during its May 31 meeting. It is essential that everyone who can meets in Washington that day to rally for our cherished democratic principles, help enfranchise MI and FL and to show that Hillary has equal numbers of passionate, devoted supporters who believe fervently, notwithstanding any math, that she will the better general election candidate and best president. Our purpose is not to divide the party or attack the DNC or Senator Obama. Michigan and Florida, however, in addition to Hillary’s strong support nationwide, cannot and must not be dismissed in DNC efforts to unify the party.

The rally will be held outside the Mariott-Wardman Park Hotel, 2660 Woodley Rd, NW in Washington D.C. on May 31st.. We will meet at 7am and rally until the meeting concludes (or longer, if you prefer).

You can register to attend the rally at http://www.hillaryresponders.com/counteveryvote. Once you register, the a state/regional coordinator from the Committee to Count Every Vote will contact you regarding travel arrangements (buses will be available and we can provide a list of recommended hotels; a limited number of Washington supporters have offered to open their homes to those who cannot afford hotel stays).

If you are not contacted or if you have any additional questions or suggestions, please email counteveryvote08@gmail.com.

Once you’ve reserved your room, please let me know where you are staying, so we can get any updates to you upon your arrival.

Please encourage your network to join us in support of our fundamental democratic principles: every vote must count and every delegate must be seated!

    Best,

The Committee to Count Every Vote

  4. Hi

I am the writer of the piece “Heaven’s Glass Ceiling that is your Blog post for October 4, 2008. I would love for you to do some writing for us on a kind of reader-participation book I am doing. Go to http://www.myspace.com/untilwegothere if you are a MySpace member, or http://www.untilwegothere.com if you are not. I like your take on things. In addition to the question there: –I would also like to ask you some other questions, especially since it seems that you were a Hillary support. (I had a lot of interest in how a Hillary Clinton Presidency would have changed the world.) Also you are in college ministry and I have questions on your take on the spiritual nature of reality.

    Please, get in touch.

    1. Hi Professor Robinson,

Thanks for the comment. I am honored that you’d want to use my blog post for your anthology. I give you full permission to include my essay in your anthology. Let me know when it comes out. I’d love to buy a copy of that anthology.
